Sexy moves, funky grooves, beautiful guitar solos too...you’ll leave every Jammies show with five new tenants living rent free in your head! Formed in 2019, the Sydney-based psychedelic rock band have blended their various influences to create music you can ‘feel,’ mixing Zeppelin-esqe riffs with emotional vocals, a stank-face-inducing rhythm section and the spirit of Jimi Hendrix. After the tragic loss of lead singer, Charlie’s, finger last year to a gorilla, the band has adapted and bounced back with a live show that hits harder than ever! Bringing in his brother, Eddie, to take over his guitar duties, their performance has reached new heights, with Aiden on the lead guitar, Phil on the bass and Edie on the drums. Having shared the stage with the likes of Ocean Alley, Amy Shark and Liquid Zoo, The Jam Sandwiches are ready to burst out of their proverbial cocoon and explode across Australia.

"INFINITE" OUT 23RD OCT

On the surface, ‘Infinite’ is about those rare moments where you have not a care in the world and you just feel clear and happy. There’s definitely some influence from the tunnel scene in ‘Perks of Being a Wallflower.’ On a deeper level, the song is about manic depression, feeling like shit pretty much all of the time except for these brief spurts where you feel invincible. There’s never an in between.

Origin Story

Formed at school in 2019, the 'Jammies' came together to tackle a cover of "Black Dog" for a charity concert. But that first rehearsal, there was an aura in the room. They all felt it, felt it wash over their bodies, leaving trails of goosebumps in its wake. An unfamiliar but extremely welcome sensation and an understanding that they were meant to make sweet, sweet music together. They blended their different influences, mixing Zeppelin-esque riffs with a swingin' rhythm section, powerful vocals and the spirit of Jimi Hendrix.
